Cash and Markets Working Group
The Myanmar Cash and Markets Working Group (CMWG) is established to support all actors engaged in CVA and to provide technical assistance to the inter-cluster coordination group (ICCG).
The CMWG is a technical forum with four sub-national groups that work to effectively coordinate CVA from multiple actors across the response in order to maximize resources, avoid duplications, address unmet needs, increase effectiveness and enable programmatic coherence. The CMWG is also responsible for consolidating market information across Myanmar and systematically integrating CVA into humanitarian responses and preparedness plans as well as promoting quality multipurpose cash assistance (MPC), whenever feasible.
